Honey Glazed Chicken Wings Recipe

Chicken Wings with Honey glaze are incredibly easy and packed with bold flavors from honey, soy sauce, and a few spices! Their crispy exterior baked to perfection and combined with a sticky glaze, make chicken wings a crowd pleaser and a finger-licking weeknight dinner. Ingredients 

For chicken wings:

  • 2 pounds skin-on chicken wings bone-in
  • 3 egg whites
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For glaze:

  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ soy sauce
  • 1 inch knob fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place an oven safe cooling rack on top and spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Wash chicken wings, then pat them dry. Place chicken wings on the cooling rack.

  • In a bowl, whisk the egg whites with the salt, black pepper, and paprika until frothy.

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes. Flip them halfway through so they bake evenly.
  • While they’re baking, prepare the glossy glaze.
  • In a saucepan add the honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, juice of lime, ground coriander, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil. Mix well.
    Bring to a boil, then simmer until sauce is reduced and becomes sticky.

How to Make Honey Glazed Chicken Wings Step by Step

How to Store

Refrigerate leftover chicken wings in an airtight container for 1-3 days. Reheat in the microwave until warm.

Serving Suggestions

If I’m serving these sweet and spicy chicken wings as an appetizer, my ranch dip or Peanut Sauce is a great dip. If I’m making these for a weeknight meal, I like to add my Easy Cucumber Salad with a side of Steamed Rice.
